We think posture is important, and that people should have access to the best possible solution to help them develop and maintain an optimum posture. That's why we have compiled a range of products, and offer a service, which puts the customer's needs at the heart of what we do.
For custom seating, we provide all of the main bespoke seating materials, plus any hybrid as standard. We are offering this comprehensive range because we think it is essential to ensure a flexible clinical approach.
We will use our clinical experience and work in partnership with the seating team to ensure the end user's needs are met. A key benefit of our service is the flexibility our combination of products offers, which means there is no problem if a change in prescription is needed after a mould.
Here at contour886 we also think the "final look" is important so we dedicate considerable time and effort into the finishing of the seat, ensuring the fabric, colours and designs are thought through properly, with the end user in mind.
Having a culture and an identity are important, and for us this goes hand in hand with the products and service we offer. We are in business to provide posture solutions, but we are also in business to run things the best way we know how. This includes:
- Being involved in posture and mobility industry issues and sharing our learning and expertise.
- Dedicating resources to develop new products and identifying original solutions to posture issues.
- Taking time out to listen to feedback from our customers and end users.
- Investing our resources and expertise into causes we believe in, such as disability sport.
- Building a company that people will want to work for, and enjoy dealing with.
As contour886 grows we intend to maintain these values and ensure quality and service is not compromised by size.
We wanted a name that reflected what we are about, but also a name which meant something to us.
contour - because that is what we are doing; moulding the contours of the body to create a perfect imprint.
886 - the height of Pen-y-Fan, our favourite mountain in the Brecon Beacons. Its contour lines and peak appear in our logo.
